Ask The General, Oct 22nd, 2007 I have only lived here a few years but I have a question that may sound foolish. I watched the Doo Dah Parade last year on Cable One. I enjoyed the broadcast and the broadcasters but I really don't understand it. Could you explain it too me a little bit more.

Ask The General, Oct 15th, 2007 Money is tight for my family this year but we still want to participate in Neewollah. Are there any activities going on that won't cost as much for us this year?

Ask The General, Oct 8th, 2007 I have read in your column and seen on the website that the Clydesdales are returning to Independence for Neewollah. Why can’t we have them every year?

Ask The General, Oct 1st, 2007 We are new to Independence. I have visited your website. I have heard that the Marine Corps Band is going to have a concert, but I cannot find the date and time. Also, I assume the Clydesdale Horses are going to be in the Grand Parade. Could you please give me the date and time of the concert? Will tickets be sold for this?

Ask The General, Sept 24, 2007 I am so excited about Neewollah this year but I have some questions about tickets. I appreciate that I can now buy these through the mail but I have always enjoyed being able to exactly pick out my seats in beautiful Memorial Hall. However, I hate to be a bother but is there any way for me to get tickets early?

Ask The General, Sep 17th, 2007 My family moved here a little over a year ago. Last fall my parents visited us during Neewollah. They were amazed that such a fabulous celebration can be pulled off in a town of this size. They keep asking me how it is organized and put together.
