Dear General Ann,

 

My favorite part about Neewollah is the great food vendors that come to downtown.  Could you please tell me how they are selected and why we can’t have more?

Dear Fan,

 

I agree with you, I can’t wait for Wednesday October 26th when the streets come alive with the sights and smells of the many food vendors.  Food vendor applications questions are the largest number of emails and phone calls that Neewollah receives. Unfortunately we are limited in the amount that we can accept.

 

The application process begins in June.  Anyone who wants an application will be mailed one then.  These applications are due back in by the end of July.  There are 32 spots available each year.  Neewollah will take back anyone who was here the prior year as long as they have paid on time and no problems arise.  There are normally openings for 2 new ones each year.  The Food Vendor Committee is looking for unusual things, to fill the vacant slots. Independence vendors pay a lower price for their space each year.

 

I know we all look forward to see what new cuisines will be coming to Neewollah this fall.
