2009 Dessert Contest Rules and Entry Form

"Thoroughly Modern Fun" The 6th Annual Neewollah Chili Cook-Off will be held at the Riverside Park Oval. Neewollah is looking for cooks to participate in the Chili Cook-off. The cooks will begin cooking at dawn and panel judging starts at 11:15am.

The Annual Chili Cook-Off

Local cooks compete with their own recipes for the best variety of chili. Public tasting begins at 11:00 am. Sampling kits can be purchased for $3. The public can participate in voting for the "People's Choice Award."

The Dessert Competition

Chocolate Lover's Delight is the theme of this year's Desert Competition. The only stiputlation is that the dessert must contain chocolate!! The public can sample three desserts for for $2.

Kids activities include inflatables, clowns, corn on the cob eating contest and a raffle for free carnival tickets.

2008 Chili Cook-Off Results:

1^st Place winner was awarded to Robert Lattin and his team, Lattin Chili
2^nd Place winner was Fat Boy Barbeque
3^rd Place winner was Three Witches Brew
The People's Choice award was a tie between Cable One and Fat Boy Barbeque.
Tom Blankenship's Chili Anytime received a Neewollah spirit basket for the best-decorated booth.
The Big Chili team won for the Most Colorful Chili
Bumpy's Brew Crew won for the Most Off-the-Wall Taste.
