5k Fun Run/Walk
The 5K Run is a certified, fun, and active way to kick off the Neewollah season. Runners head out of beautiful Riverside Park and head North on 5th to the edge of the city, then turn around and come back to the park to sample the local chili fare. Both individuals and businesses participate in the run. Each age group and gender gets it's own medals, rewarding each person in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age group and gender. |

Event Rules
Neewollah 5K Run
-
Registration will begin at 7am near the starting line on the East side of the oval in Riverside Park.
-
This is a certified course that will take participants through the park then North on 5th Street to the Northern edge of the city limits where participants will turn around and return to the park near the zoo with the finish on the Northwest corner of the oval.

Cost of the run is $12 if post marked by October 5 and $15 the day of the race.

If you are entering a Corporate Team in the race then it will be $50 per team prior to October 5, and $75 per team the day of the race.

Corporate Teams must register at least 5 runners at the same time.

There will be medals for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in the following age groups:

Male - 18 & under Female - 18& under

Male - 19 to 29 Female - 19 to 29
-
Male - 30 to 39 Female - 30-39
-
Male - 40 – 49 Female - 40 to 49
-
Male - 50 to 59 and Female - 50 to 59 and
-
Male - 60 & up Female - 60 & up.

There will also be an overall male and female given out.

All runners will receive a gift bag and a T-Shirt at the registration table.

Any runner that pre-registers must check in at the registration table the morning of the race.

Registration forms are available on the website in pdf format and will be available at the Neewollah Headquarters, or at Memorial Hall the day tickets go on sale.
