Note From Don Farthing - 2004 Generalissimo
Neewollah 2004 has ended, and what an ending!
The day was perfectly suited to the Grand Parade, the carnival, the street vendors, and the Marching Festival. Wherever there were groups of people on Saturday, there was sunshine!
An undertaking of this size is dependent on large numbers of local volunteers working very hard in order for the week to go smoothly. My thanks go out to all of them, named or unnamed, who made this week so successful.
I would also like to thank all those who attended any of our Neewollah events. Independence gives a party, and like any host or hostess, is pleased when our guests show up and have a good time. If you came to any of our events this week, we thank you for coming to meet your friends, family, or others here in Independence. By accepting our invitation to "Meet Me at Neewollah", you share in the success of our week-long party.
