NEEWOLLAH 2008 Logo Contest

Marty Reichenberger, this year’s Neewollah generalissimo, has announced the theme for this October’s celebration will be; Neewollah 2008, Welcome to “Our Town!”  Reichenberger believes this theme reflects the spirit of Neewollah in opening our city for all to enjoy the Neewollah experience.

Again this year, area residents of all ages are invited to enter the Neewollah 2008 Logo Contest.  ITSO, the Independence Thespian Society Organization, will co-chair and coordinate the competition.  Entry forms with contest guidelines can be found in the Sunday, February 17th Independence Daily Reporter.  Forms may also be obtained from the Neewollah website @ http://www.neewollah.com/Logo-Contest-220.asp, as well as the Independence Chamber of Commerce office.

Entries for the logo should incorporate this year’s theme, must have “Our Town” in quotes, and is limited to black and white, with no pencil work.  Symbolism, rather than realism should be emphasized, and computer generated designs are prohibited.  Contest rules limit one entry per person.  The entries will be professionally and anonymously judged.  The winner will receive a $100 cash award as well as published recognition.  All entries will become the property of Neewollah, Inc. and will not be returned.
