Doo Dah, Kiddie & Grand Parades

The parades at Neewollah are one of the biggest events in the town. Everybody comes to downtown Independence to participate in and view them. The Doo Dah parade is the adult's costume parade, the Kiddie parade is just for the little ones, and the Grand Parade is a huge parade lasting several hours that snakes through the entire downtown area.
 
DooDah Parade
The adults get to live it up in the Neewollah DooDah Parade. They harken back to their younger years, dressing up in some of the most creative costumes out there.

Kiddie Parade
The Kiddie parade goes back to 1959. Most elementary school students dress up in their finest Halloween costumes.

Grand Parade
Each year the Grand Parade draws thousands to Independence. Marching bands and floats make parade day a real joy.
