My friend has a band that he would like to get on the bandstand downtown. Is that still possible?

Dear Jerry,
I’m afraid that all the bandstand entertainment has already been arranged for this year’s festival. If your friend would like to entertain on the bandstand, he will need to watch the website for contact information for the bandstand next year. The entry deadline for music packets was July 31st. Packets include pictures of the band with a written description of the group, a CD of their music, and a website (if it’s available). This packet is sent to the bandstand chair listed on the Neewollah website. This year’s chairman is John Hamlin.
John works with his committee to select musicians for their quality and variety of music to ensure that our festival patrons have a great line-up to enjoy as they “down” those Philly Steak Sandwiches, turkey drumsticks, and apple dumplings.
The bandstand will host local talent on Wednesday night, a variety of musicians the rest of the week, and Friday evening at 5:30pm a magician will amaze the kids in a free show after the Kiddie Parade. A special show is planned for Saturday night as well. Please check out the Neewollah website and watch for upcoming advertisements to see specifically what is in store for you on this year’s Neewollah Bandstand!
