Neewollah books country star Chase Bryant as festival headliner
Neewollah 2019 Generalissimo Anne Bertie has announced the selection of country music artist Chase Bryant as the professional headliner for this year’s festival. Bryant will perform at Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 26.
At age 26, Bryant already has hit the Country Billboard Chart’s Top 10 with two of his early releases, “Take It On Back” and “Little Bit of You,” which also reached the top 20 in Canada and soared to number one on Australia’s CMC Countdown. Other well-known Bryant singles include “Fire” and “Change Your Name.”
Known not only for his voice but also for his songwriting and exceptional guitar playing skills, Bryant has toured with several elite country music artists, including Tim McGraw (Shotgun Rider Tour); Brantley Gilbert (Let it Ride Tour); Kip Moore (2016 Wild Ones Tour; and Brad Paisley (2017/2018 Weekend Warrior Tour).
“I’m excited to bring this young artist to the Neewollah stage, and I know the audience will appreciate his talent and energy,” said Bertie, who herself recently experienced Bryant in concert at a regional show in Pittsburg.
Bryant is a native of the small Texas community of Orange Grove (population 1,200) and has deep family roots in the country music industry. His grandfather played piano for Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings, and his uncles co-founded the country group Ricochet.
Online ticket sales for the Chase Bryant show will open September 9, Bertie said, and tickets also will be available by phone and at Neewollah Headquarters upon opening day October 5.
