Medallion Hunt

The Neewollah Medallion Hunt is a beloved tradition that brings the community of Independence together for an exciting, town-wide search. Each year, clues are released daily to guide participants in locating the hidden medallion on public property throughout our scenic town. While the hunt is open to everyone, searchers must adhere to all safety guidelines and respect public property—please note that no disassembly of park equipment or facilities is required. The medallion carries a prize of $250, which increases to $500 if the lucky finder is wearing a current Neewollah button. Be sure to check our website and the Independence Daily Reporter daily for the latest clues and to review the complete rules before you begin your hunt!
